Anam Kazim was raised in Toronto and acquired both a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and Masters degree in biochemical/environmental engineering from Western University before moving west and settling in Calgary.
Prior to working for the Legislative Assembly, she worked as an Applications Engineer in Calgary. Previous to that she was employed with a firm providing consultancy in project management. She also holds research experience in designing environmentally friendly chemical processes at Western University.
Kazim’s goal in life is to add value to the society on individual as well as community level. She credits her life experience and academic background as helping her develop a devotion to bettering the lives of all families in Calgary with policies that benefit their interests, protecting and improving health care, education and other key public services.
