An operating room registered nurse with 10 years of experience, Cam Westhead knows how critically important public health care is to working and middle class families. He is dedicated to protecting and improving our public health care, education, and seniors programs.
Westhead has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nipissing University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto. He settled in Bragg Creek in 2011 after living in Calgary and Canmore from 2005 and enjoys the recreational opportunities the Banff-Cochrane constituency has to offer.
As an elected workplace representative for more than four years for nurses at the Foothills Hospital and across the province, Westhead determinedly advocated for improved patient safety and optimal conditions for working people.
He is committed to strengthening the province’s health care system, protecting the natural environment, and a strong economy.
