Christina Gray won the nomination to represent Alberta's NDP in Edmonton - Mill Woods in December of 2006.
Gray is a computer programming instructor who specializes in ecommerce websites. She has worked for two local firms, Omni Technology Solutions and DevStudios, both of which are Edmonton owned success stories.
Gray is heavily involved throughout her community. She is a volunteer board member for both her community league and the Mill Woods Crime Council. Gray is the chairperson for Edmonton's Transit System Advisory Board, a volunteer group appointed by Edmonton's City Council. As well, Gray has been a distress line volunteer with Edmonton's Support Network for the past two years.
In the spring of 2007 Gray was awarded the YWCA's Woman of Distinction award. Gray was recognized for her pioneering work as a woman in the field of computer programming.
Gray holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Concordia University College of Alberta. She is also a graduate of DevStudios and holds numerous industry specific certifications from Microsoft.
