Erin Babcock is an advocate for some of Alberta’s most venerable residents. As a licensed practical nurse, the NorQuest College graduate has hands-on experience working at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in an acute stroke and gersiatric unit.
Primarily working in care, mostly in group homes with mentally and physically disabled, Babcock has also volunteered her time on the local Board of Directors for Special Olympics in Kindersley, Saskatchewan. I
The mother of three young children, ranging from eight to 13 years of age, is no stranger to sacrifice and hard work, moving to Edmonton from Saskatchewan as a single parent at the end of 2011 in order to pursue college and provide a better life for her family. Babcock now lives with her partner Will Gammon, in their home in Stony Plain.
