"I was honoured and thrilled to be elected as Provincial Leader of the party at our annual convention this year. Hundreds of people turned out to the convention and the excitement that the party is generating was evident, not only in the crowds, but also in the dynamic candidates that have come forward to run for the New Democrats. The Alberta New Democrats are a party on the move. We're in the midst of a growth spurt that can only result in bigger and better things for us. It's an invigorating time for our party and for our province."
