LETHBRIDGE – NDP Leader Rachel Notley held her first campaign rally in Lethbridge this evening. Speaking to supporters, Notley talked about her party’s plans to show leadership on the things that matter to the people of Lethbridge.
“Lethbridge is one of those special places where you find the opportunities of a big city, without losing that small town charm,” said Notley.
“Lethbridge often gets left out and overlooked by the government but I’m here to say that Lethbridge is important to me. Families in this city want schools in their neighbourhoods and long term care for their aging parents. Lethbridge wants a government they can trust to deliver the things this community needs,” said Notley.
Notley will be travelling across the province, talking to Albertans and campaigning to be Alberta’s next Premier. Notley travelled to Lethbridge on her first full day of campaigning.
“There’s a feeling of change in the air – Albertans want a new Premier, and I’m here to tell you that I’m applying for the job, so we can deliver real results for families,” said Notley.
