About the position

Alberta’s New Democrats is seeking a motivated, creative, and energetic individuals to assist with voter outreach. We are prioritizing applicants in Calgary.

General Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Organizing Team, Field Team Members will assist in recruiting and scheduling local volunteers and conducting voter contact activities door to door, by phone and by text. The Field Team will primarily supplement local volunteer activities to build and engage our volunteer base as well as participate in direct voter contact. There are positions available in both Edmonton and Calgary areas.

Qualifications

• Confident, assertive, and pleasant verbal communicator
• Willingness to spend many hours contacting volunteers and voters
• Excellent listener and connector
• Proven experience keeping accurate and detailed records
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others
• Ability to adapt to changing work locations and priorities
• Willingness to work irregular hours in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work within a team as well as independently
• Prior NDP campaign experience is an asset

Terms and Conditions

This is a part time, temporary position. Employees will be paid at a rate of $20 per hour.
