Jason Kenney and the UCP thought they could make disastrous changes to the province’s open-pit coal mining policies behind the backs of Albertans. Unfortunately for them – we noticed.

Now, they’ve reinstated the Lougheed Coal Policy, but they’ve left the door open for coal development in Alberta’s Eastern Slopes. As long as Jason Kenney is in charge, our mountains and water are at risk. The fight to protect them has just begun.
