You deserve healthcare when you need it. But Danielle Smith and the UCP want to take it away.

Wait times are longer, finding a family doctor is difficult, and prescription refills keep getting more expensive, all because of the UCP’s corruption and incompetence.

After dismantling our healthcare system in front of us, the UCP government has introduced Bill 11 to bring in two-tier American-style health care to Alberta. This Bill and this two-tier proposal does nothing to increase capacity or improve access to our healthcare system.

Bringing in privatization means pay-to-play access. Imagine having to pay to see a family doctor as the cost of living crisis rages on. It would be yet another greedy expense in a rapidly unaffordable world. Healthcare needs to remain free.

This is not what Albertans asked for. Albertans deserve a strong, public healthcare system — and Danielle Smith is trying to dismantle it with Bill 11.
