Many Albertans work full-time hours at multiple jobs, but struggle to make ends meet. Living wages improve life for working families and stimulate the economy by supporting local businesses.

On October 1st, an increased minimum wage will begin lifting families out of poverty. The UCP would love nothing more than to roll it back. They refuse to acknowledge its benefits—even when it's been proven to increase employment rates and bolster the economies of other provinces.

We have to defend the gains we’re making for Alberta’s working families. Living wages make life better for everyone.
