Sign on to support living wages for Alberta’s families

Rachel Notley’s $15 minimum wage creates stability for Alberta’s workers and their families.

Many Albertans work full-time hours at multiple jobs, but struggle to make ends meet. Living wages improve life for working families and stimulate the economy by supporting local businesses.

An increased minimum wage helps lift families out of poverty. But Jason Kenney has proposed rolling it back for youth and alcohol servers – two thirds of whom are women. He’s more concerned with buying support from insiders and lobbyists than increasing employment rates and bolstering the economy—things we see every time we increase minimum wages.

We have to defend the gains we’re making for Alberta’s working families. Living wages make life better for everyone.
