Gurinder Brar knows what it takes to build something from the ground up, because he has done it himself.
Before being elected as the MLA for Calgary-North East, Gurinder worked his way through school in retail and security jobs before starting his own logistics business. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Accounting from SAIT and a Master of Public Policy and Management from the University of London, and taught at several Calgary-area colleges. He lives in Cityscape with his wife Parwinder.
As Shadow Minister for Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction, Gurinder is cutting through the bureaucratic barriers that slow down families and small businesses, and fighting for the affordable, well-funded public services that northeast Calgary communities deserve.
Gurinder Brar is ready. Alberta's New Democrats are ready.
