Join the Indigenous People's Caucus fundraiser breakfast on Saturday, June 13, 2026, to hear a panel of Alberta Chiefs discuss Treaty Rights and Responsibilities, why separation won't work, and ideas on how to be a good ally.
Chief Sheldon Sunshine of Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation (Treaty 8) filed a court injunction challenging the constitutionality of a separatist referendum and how it violates Treaty Rights.
