The Alberta New Democratic Party is focused on one clear goal: making life more affordable and building an Alberta that works for everyone.
That means lowering costs for families, creating good, reliable jobs, and strengthening the public services people depend on, including healthcare and education. It also means restoring steady, competent leadership that gives Albertans confidence in the future.
For more than 50 years, the Alberta NDP has fought for what matters most: good jobs, quality education, and accessible public healthcare. In 1982, under the leadership of Grant Notley, the party earned the trust of Albertans and became a strong, principled opposition.
Today, that work continues under the leadership of Naheed Nenshi - who brings a renewed focus on affordability, economic strength, and responsible development. Alberta New Democrats are advancing practical solutions, from protecting consumers against rising costs to building a strong energy future that creates jobs while positioning the province for long-term success.
Alberta deserves a better government, and the Alberta NDP is ready.
