Janet Eremenko knows what it looks like when systems fail people, and she has spent her career working to fix them.
A lifelong Calgarian with a degree in International Development, Janet spent more than a decade in the non-profit sector pushing for policies that reduced poverty, improved access to justice, and expanded affordable child care across Alberta.
Before winning her seat in Calgary-Currie in 2023, she worked with a national charity helping newcomers bridge their foreign credentials and restart their careers in Canada. Now in the Legislature as Shadow Minister for Mental Health and Addiction, Janet holds this government accountable on one of the most urgent crises facing Albertans. She is a member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. She is raising her two children in the community she fights for every day.
Janet Eremenko is ready. Alberta's New Democrats are ready.
