Sarah Hoffman was first elected on May 5th, 2015 as the MLA for Edmonton-Glenora. She became the Minister of Health on May 24th, 2015, and was named Deputy Premier on February 2nd, 2016.
Sarah has a Master of Education degree in educational policy studies and a Bachelor of Education in secondary math from the University of Alberta. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in math and a Bachelor of Arts in religion from Concordia University College of Alberta.
Sarah worked as a researcher prior to being elected as a trustee for the Edmonton Public School Board. During her first term as a school trustee she served as Vice-Chair of the board. After being acclaimed to a second term as Trustee, she served as Chair.
