Erin Babcock

Erin Babcock was first elected on May 5th, 2015 as the MLA for Stony Plain.  She is currently Deputy Chair of the Legislature's Standing Committee on Privileges and Elections, Standing Orders and Printing.  She also serves as a member on the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship and a member of the Standing Committee on Private Bills.

Erin is a licensed practical nurse and has worked in health care in Saskatchewan and Alberta, since 2006.  Erin's work focused on assisting individuals with mental and physical disabilities.  Erin relocated to Edmonton to further her education at NorQuest College and her work since then was as part of a team assisting stroke patients and acute geriatic patients.

Erin is an active community volunteer and leader, she has previously served on the board of directors for the Special Olympics in Kindersley, Saskatchewan.
