Lorne Dach was first elected on May 5th, 2015 as the MLA for Edmonton-McClung. He is the Deputy Chair of the Legislature's Standing Committee on Public Accounts. Lorne also sits as a member of the Standing Committee on Alberta's Economic Future.
Before being elected, Lorne worked for almost 30 years in the real estate industry as an Associate Broker. Lorne holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Alberta.
Lorne enjoys dedicating time to volunteer activities, and has served on the Board of Directors for homeEd, the City of Edmonton Non-Profit Housing Corporation, for six years. He has also volunteered as a probation officer with Alberta Solicitor General's court intake unit.
Lorne was born, raised and educated in Edmonton. He has lived in the Edmonton-McClung area for more than 25 years.
